Football Recap: Soddy Daisy Starts off Right with Win over White County

Soddy Daisy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They slipped by the White County Warriors 14-13. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Soddy Daisy had a senior duo take command as Tucker Ross threw for 195 yards and a pair of TDs and Aiden Hollis picked up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Hollis got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 53 yards.

Soddy Daisy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 24-7 victory against Hixson on the 29th. As for White County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-14 win against York Institute on the 29th.
