Basketball Recap: Templeton Takes a Loss

Templeton lost against San Luis Obispo back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Templeton Eagles came up short against the San Luis Obispo Tigers, falling 68-43. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 554th, while the Tigers are ranked 119th).

Templeton has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season. As for San Luis Obispo, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Templeton will venture away from home to square off against Atascadero at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. San Luis Obispo has already played their next contest (against St. Joseph), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
