Volleyball Game Preview: Moon Valley Rockets vs. Goldwater Bulldogs

The Moon Valley Rockets will face off against the Goldwater Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Moon Valley: they have been struggling with eight straight losses at home, while Goldwater has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

On Tuesday, Moon Valley came up short against Dysart and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Goldwater narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Crismon 3-2.

Goldwater took Crismon into a fifth set where they got it done with a 11-point win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 25-23, 22-25, 15-4.

Goldwater is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Moon Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.
