Baseball Recap: Jackson North Side Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Jackson North Side won the last time they faced Peabody and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians came out on top against the Golden Tide by a score of 9-5.

Javonte Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Andrew Doan, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
