If Forest Hills was feeling good fresh off their 12-1 takedown of Penns Valley Area last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers fell just short of the Central Dragons by a score of 7-6 on Wednesday. The Rangers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Xander Richardson put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Richardson wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Chase Williamson, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Bryce Roberts was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Forest Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-4.
