Baseball Recap: Cardinal Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Cardinal won against Davis County on Tuesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Comets never let the Interstate 35 Roadrunners get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Cardinal has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Interstate 35, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 17-7 record.

Looking ahead, Cardinal will square off against Chariton on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Comets 3, the Chargers 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Interstate 35 does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
