Who's up and who's down

The power rankings have experienced a modest tune-up after last week's playoff battles. A special shoutout goes to Stone Bridge's senior Dominic Mell, who scored five total touchdowns in the team's most recent match.

Can't Touch This

Stone Bridge's 49 - 26 win over North Stafford last week had a lot to do with the leadership of senior Dominic Mell. Mell ran for 227 yards and also punched in five touchdowns. That performance landed Mell among the top power-ranked players for the week.

This Week's Big Showdown

One of the hottest tickets last week involved the clash between Martinsburg (1st in the MaxPreps state rankings) and Spring Valley (2nd). Martinsburg took its contest against Spring Valley by a conclusive 31 - 7 score. The MaxPreps rankings were spot on as they projected Martinsburg as the clear winner.
