Baseball Recap: Buffalo Takes a Loss

Buffalo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Elkhart Elks. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Elks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

M Nedbilik was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

Buffalo now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Elkhart, their record now sits at 8-10.

Coincidentally, Buffalo and Elkhart will both be playing Groesbeck the next time they take the field. Buffalo will head out to face Groesbeck at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Elkhart will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
