Basketball Recap: San Pasqual Comes Up Short

San Pasqual was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were dealt a 63-23 defeat at the hands of the Ramona Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-63 back in January.

Despite the loss, San Pasqual still got an impressive performance from Mason Turnbaugh, who posted seven points and 11 rebounds.

Daniel Penner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ramona, going 6 for 13 en route to 22 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. That's the most points Penner has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Matthew Parker, who put up seven points and five steals.

San Pasqual's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Ramona, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

San Pasqual wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-45 defeat against Fallbrook on the 4th. As for Ramona, they have also already played their next match, an 87-60 victory against Valley Center on the 4th.
