They took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks. Spring Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Murrieta Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Spring Creek will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Churchill County at 1:00 p.m. on January 4th. As for Murrieta Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-47 defeat against Notre Dame (SO) on the 27th.
