Soccer Game Preview: Wasco vs. Shafter

The Wasco Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Shafter Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Wasco took on Taft on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result kept the Tigers happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 3rd.

Meanwhile, Shafter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Kennedy, falling 3-0.

Wasco's draw gives them a new season record of 15-4-2. As for Shafter, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-3.

Wasco took their win against Shafter in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 8-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wasco since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
