Basketball Game Preview: Circleville Tigers vs. Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs

The Circleville Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Circleville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Circleville duked it out withLiberty Union on Friday. Circleville strolled past Liberty Union with points to spare, taking the game 40-24. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Lions are ranked 350th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Bloom-Carroll's strategy against Chillicothe on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Bloom-Carroll blew Chillicothe out of the water with a 53-21 final score. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bulldogs have posted since February 24, 2024.

Bloom-Carroll's record is now 4-5. As for Circleville, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Circleville was able to grind out a solid victory over Bloom-Carroll in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 47-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Circleville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
