Basketball Recap: Reading Rangers vs. Litchfield Terriers

The Reading Rangers meant business on Monday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Terriers squad that has allowed just 30 points per contest. Reading took their game at home with ease, bagging a 62-35 victory over the Terriers. The win was just what Reading needed coming off of a 51-15 defeat in their prior contest.

Aubree Ervans continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Santure, who scored ten points.

Reading's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Litchfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Reading will be playing at home against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Springport is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season. Litchfield's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th.
