It was a good run, but Magnolia unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Arkadelphia Badgers by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 9-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Arkadelphia, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Coming up, Magnolia is taking a road trip to take on Beebe at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3.9, the Badgers 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Arkadelphia, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Ouachita at 5:00 p.m.
