Basketball Game Preview: Alief Taylor Lions vs. Foster Falcons

The Alief Taylor Lions will take on the Foster Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alief Taylor will be strutting in after a victory while Foster will be coming in after a loss.

Alief Taylor is returning to their home court after beating Alief Hastings on theirs, despite the fact Alief Hastings has dominated at home this season. Alief Taylor couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 63-33 blowout they got against Alief Hastings. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Foster suffered their biggest defeat since December 5, 2024 on Friday. 2025 welcomed they with a 68-47 loss courtesy of Fulshear. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now lost five in a row.

Alief Taylor pushed their record up to 21-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Foster, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-13.

Alief Taylor didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Foster when the teams last played back in November of 2023, but they still walked away with a 35-31 victory.
