Football Recap: Joseph Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Joseph barely beat Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 39-18 margin over Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

The win was the third in a row for Joseph, bringing their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points over those games. As for Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Joseph will take on rival Harper at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 9.3, the Hornets 0) so any points scored will be well earned.
