Softball Game Preview: Savanna Rebels vs. Los Amigos Lobos

Savanna is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. They will head out to challenge the Los Amigos Lobos at 3:15 p.m. Savanna has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Savanna is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Anaheim on Wednesday. They lost 11-1 to the Colonists.

Meanwhile, Los Amigos put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 15-2 margin over Orange. The Lobos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by eight runs or more this season.

Maria Castillo was a standout: she scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Leah Lemusu was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4.

Los Amigos was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orange only posted a batting average of .167.

Savanna's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Los Amigos, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
