Volleyball Recap: Polytechnic Makes It Nine in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Polytechnic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chadwick Dolphins on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Polytechnic never let Chadwick on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-21.

Polytechnic pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Chadwick, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-17 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Polytechnic will welcome Mayfield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chadwick, they will be playing at home against California Academy of Math & Science at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
