Volleyball Recap: Nicolet Takes a Loss

Nicolet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brookfield East Spartans. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2018.

Among those leading the charge was Hailey Schneiker, who had 13 assists and five digs.

Nicolet's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Brookfield East, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2.

Nicolet will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Slinger at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Brookfield East, they will face off against Divine Savior Holy Angels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
