After losing to Ysleta the last time they met, San Elizario decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The San Elizario Eagles snuck past the Ysleta Indians with a 36-32 win on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

San Elizario has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points per game. As for Ysleta, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

San Elizario and Ysleta's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. San Elizario will face off against Fabens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, a team that's only allowed 26.38 points per game. Meanwhile, Ysleta and Mountain View (who has only given up 28.14 points per game) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
