Hailey Martinez Game Report: vs Lancaster

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Hailey Martinez stepped things up a notch to give Horn the 'W'. Martinez didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. What's more, she gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest she's had since back in February.

Looking ahead, Martinez and Horn will take on Mesquite at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last time Martinez duked it out with Mesquite (back in March), Horn came out on top by a score of 11-3.
