Basketball Recap: Ooltewah Comes Up Short

Ooltewah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt an 87-48 defeat at the hands of the Walker Valley Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-35 two weeks ago.

Ooltewah's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Walker Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ooltewah will square off against rival Bradley Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Walker Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Cleveland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
