Basketball Recap: Fyffe Gets the Win

Fyffe saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They escaped with a win against the Etowah Blue Devils by the margin of a single free throw, 50-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Despite the defeat, Etowah saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zackery Winston posted 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Winston has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiden Wilson, who earned ten points.

Fyffe now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Etowah, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Fyffe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-39 defeat against Skyline on the 2nd. As for Etowah, they have also already played their next game, a 54-47 loss against Southside on the 1st.
