Basketball Recap: Oakhaven Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

The Oakhaven Hawks blew past the Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova Eagles 72-51 thanks in part to Spates, who posted 19 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Mario Miller, who had 13 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Oakhaven has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.9 points over those games.
