Recap: Carlmont Scots vs. Sequoia Ravens
The Carlmont Scots lost against the Sequoia Ravens back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Carlmont fell to Sequoia 23-17.
When it comes to explaining why Carlmont lost, one person who can't be blamed is Braeden Kumer. Despite the final result, he rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns. Kumer has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last six times he's played.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sequoia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Kern, who rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Brody McKenna was another key contributor, throwing for 180 yards and a touchdown.
Carlmont's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Sequoia, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.
Carlmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sequoia also has no future games currently scheduled.
