Softball Recap: Conner Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Conner lost to Bishop Brossart on April 12th, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cougars came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 10-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Bre Meredith was a standout: she fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Averie Lightner, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Conner was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
