Football Recap: Ysleta Skates Past Mountain View with Ease

Ysleta put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Mountain View Lobos, posting a 52-15 win. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lobos, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ysleta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Armando Guzman, who picked up 140 receiving yards and two TDs. Rodrigo Martinez was another key player, rushing for 81 yards and one score.

Ysleta was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 220 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Ysleta didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Sebastian Medina and Michael Jacquez. Ysleta got some further help from Ryan Lopez: he picked up three sacks, made 11 total tackles, and defended two passes.

Ysleta's record now sits at 4-0. As for Mountain View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
