Basketball Recap: Erie Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Erie had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Lebo Wolves 65-31 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Red Devils have suffered since January 31st.

Despite the defeat, Erie saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Quincy Brown posted eight points and five boards.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Erie will square off against Southern Coffey County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Red Devils their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lebo, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Flinthills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
