Football Recap: Weequahic's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against West Side last Saturday, Weequahic came back down to earth. The Indians lost to the Westwood Cardinals on the road by a 37-18 margin on Friday. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 27-14 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

With the defeat, Weequahic broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2. As for Westwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Weequahic will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Snyder at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Westwood, they will venture away from home to take on Mahwah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
