Basketball Recap: Spooner Drops Season-High Score on Ladysmith

Spooner scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 61-44 to the Ladysmith Lumberjacks. The Rails were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lumberjacks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Spooner's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ladysmith, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

When Spooner and Ladysmith next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Spooner will try to stop Cameron's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Ladysmith will face off against Barron and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
