After a string of five wins, Russia's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell to the Marion Local Flyers 37-31. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 37-31 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Russia's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Marion Local, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-2.

Russia will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Fort Loramie at 7:30 p.m. Fort Loramie will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Russia surely won't give up without a fight. Marion Local has already played their next game (against Coldwater), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
