Recap: Desert Hills Thunder vs. Sky View Bobcats
Even though the Sky View Bobcats scored an imposing 64 points on Thursday, the Desert Hills Thunder still came out on top. Desert Hills took their match against Sky View 75-64. This was payback for Desert Hills, who suffered a 71-37 loss the last time these two teams met.
Eli Allred was his usual excellent self, scoring 34 points. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Holman, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryton Williams, who scored 15 points along with 6 assists. Another player making a difference was Zachary Oxborrow, who scored 11 points.
Desert Hills' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sky View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
Desert Hills is on the road again on Friday and play against Bear River at 5:15 p.m. on December 8th. Bear River is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 60 points per game. Sky View won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pine View at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Pine View is ranked 54th, while Sky View is ranked 77th).
