International Academy's four-game losing streak came to an end last Monday. They strolled past Bendle with points to spare, taking the game 62-43. International Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Beecher's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 57-13 loss at the hands of Morrice. While losing is never fun, Beecher can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 647th, while Morrice is ranked 273rd).
International Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Beecher, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
