Volleyball Recap: Burncoat Patriots vs. Douglas Tigers        
        
		
             Burncoat came tearing into  Friday's  matchup with five straight wins  and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Douglas Tigers as they made off with  a  3-0 win. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered  a  3-1  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Burncoat was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20,  25-18.
 Douglas lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Kylie Squier, who  had six  digs and four  kills. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zoe Greenough, who  had five  digs and ten  assists.
 Burncoat pushed their record up to 12-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. As for Douglas,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-5.
 Burncoat will welcome Abby Kelley Foster  at 4:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Douglas, they will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Hopedale at 5:00  p.m.
