Basketball Recap: East Peoria Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alton, East Peoria was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Centennial Chargers out 86-84. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their 25-point performance the game before.

East Peoria's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Centennial, they now have a losing record at 11-12.

East Peoria won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Centennial, they will face off against Richwoods at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Richwoods will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Centennial surely won't give up without a fight.
