West Springfield never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Fairfax Lions as West Springfield made off with a 12-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Elaina Primozic made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Primozic was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI.
In other batting news, West Springfield got a massive performance out of Layla Muten, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Clara Sutton, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
