It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Covenant School of Jacksonville had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Parsons Christian Academy Lions a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won nine games by nine runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Ryne Fennell, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Javien Strobridge, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Covenant School of Jacksonville's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Parsons Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1.

Looking ahead, Covenant School of Jacksonville will challenge Eagle's View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parsons Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
