Basketball Recap: Freeport Comes Up Short

Freeport lost against Falmouth back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Freeport Falcons were dealt a 70-43 loss at the hands of the Falmouth Navigators. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Navigators are ranked 14th).

Freeport's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Falmouth, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Freeport Falcons face off against the Mt. Ararat Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for Falmouth, they will challenge Biddeford at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
