Duchesne had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Saturday. They came out on top against the Chaminade Red Devils by a score of 5-2. This was payback for the Pioneers, who suffered a 7-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Rudy Weber tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cayden Wolfe was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Burle, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Duchesne pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Chaminade, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Duchesne will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Devils: the pair will be back at it again later today.
