Soccer Recap: Clairemont Comes Up Short

Clairemont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hoover Cardinals. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Chieftains couldn't quite close it out.

Clairemont's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Hoover, their win bumped their record up to 7-10-6.

Clairemont will challenge University City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. University City will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Clairemont surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hoover, they will square off against Kearny at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
