Beulah has gone 8-2 against Horseshoe Bend recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bobcats will host the Generals at 4:30 p.m.

Beulah is headed into the game having just suffered their closest defeat since March 22nd on Friday. They fell just short of Pleasant Valley by a score of 5-3.

Meanwhile, Horseshoe Bend entered their tilt with Central of Clay County on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Volunteers with a sharp 16-7 victory. Considering the Generals have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Brynlee Alford and Lily Moss made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Alford tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Meanwhile, Moss pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. Alford has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up a single earned run in nine consecutive appearances. At the plate, Alford scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Moss scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs Moss has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Horseshoe Bend got a massive performance out of Marigrace Jones, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Those five RBI gave Jones a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cara Mae Davis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5.

Horseshoe Bend kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Horseshoe Bend's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-3-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Beulah, their loss dropped their record down to 13-15-1.
