The Winfield Generals will head out on the road to square off against the Wayne Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Winfield took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Point Pleasant 53-31. The victory continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Big Blacks: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Wayne entered their tilt with Hurricane last Monday with nine consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with ten. They claimed a resounding 70-42 win over the Redskins. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Winfield better focus on containing Brooke Adkins and Jaycelyn Sammons as the pair were huge in Wayne's win.
