Basketball Recap: Gillespie Miners vs. Hillsboro Hiltoppers

Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-50 last Friday.
Hillsboro's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nathan Matoush led the charge by going 7 of 15 on his way to 21 points. The game was Matoush's third in a row with at least ten points. Tony White was another key player, going 7 for 10 on his way to 16 points.
Gillespie's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Hillsboro, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
