Basketball Recap: Bluff City Piles Up the Points Against Sheffield

Bluff City hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They breezed by the Sheffield Knights to the tune of 54-18 on Friday. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for the Gray Wolves this season.

Despite the defeat, Sheffield saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Armani Hewitt posted nine points and seven steals. Deonna Allen was another key player, putting up three points and five steals.

Bluff City's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Sheffield, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-10.

Bluff City has already played their next match (against Wooddale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sheffield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-15 defeat against Briarcrest Christian on the 18th.
