Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huckabay). They blew past the Iredell Dragons, posting an 83-11 win. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 306th, while the Dragons are ranked 1078th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Huckabay pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Iredell, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huckabay will take on Bluff Dale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bluff Dale has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Iredell, they will square off against Gorman at 6:15 p.m. on January 10th.
