Chattahoochee is 4-0 against Lanier since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Chattahoochee Cougars will host the Lanier Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Chattahoochee is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past South Forsyth 79-55 on Saturday. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the War Eagles are ranked 317th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lanier came into Monday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past St. Francis with a 69-64 win on Monday.

Chattahoochee is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Lanier, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Chattahoochee came out on top in a nail-biter against Lanier when the teams last played back in November of 2020, sneaking past 78-75. Will Chattahoochee repeat their success, or does Lanier have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
