Monroe is a perfect 4-0 against Stanwood since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bearcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Stanwood took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Monroe, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Monroe duked it out with Snohomish on Friday. The Bearcats blew past the Panthers 4-1. The result was nothing new for Monroe, who have now won three contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Stanwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Inglemoor.

Monroe's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Stanwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Monroe was able to grind out a solid win over Stanwood in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 4-2. Will the Bearcats repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
