Wednesday just wasn't the day for Bristol's offense. They came up short against the Maplewood Rockets on Wednesday, falling 13-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bristol has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Maplewood, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bristol will square off against Harding at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Skippers at the right time seeing as the Skippers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Maplewood, they will face off against Chalker at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight.
