Softball Recap: Kearney Bearcats vs. Lincoln Southeast Knights        
        
		
             There's no place like home for Kearney, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lincoln Southeast Knights by a score of  9-6  on Thursday. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Bearcats as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
  Kennedy Lee and  Kelsey Hatcher did most of the damage at the plate:  Lee  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Hatcher  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alexa Jacobsen, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Kearney  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're  hit total in three consecutive  games.
 Kearney's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 18-14. As for Lincoln Southeast, they dropped their record down to 8-19 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kearney beat Lincoln Southeast by a score of  10-0 later that day.
