Volleyball Game Preview: Northwest Lions vs. Oakville Tigers

Northwest is 0-5 against Oakville since May of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Northwest is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since April 8th on Monday. They came up short against Lindbergh, falling 3-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Northwest ultimately came up short, they really made Lindbergh work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-15, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Oakville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Parkway South.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12-1. As for Oakville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
